6/10 - samantha

my friend samantha decided to come back to texas for the summer so last saturday, dennis, natasha and i took some photos of her at an abandoned house and then a pond. it was such a good day. the pond that we took pictures in was absolutely disgusting and full of algae that our feet kept getting caught up in, so after we finished taking pictures, dennis and i stripped on the side of the street to get into some clean clothes and dennis had to wear my shorts that were way too small for him because he failed to bring a clean clothing set for himself. it made my entire summer up to that point. oh and also, tie-dyed roses are my new favorite thing. ever.

before this shoot, i hadn't seen dana in over a year. she doesn't live in houston anymore but she contacted me saying that she was going to be in town for a bit so i did a quick shoot with her along with colin and angela while she was here and i'm so glad i got to photograph her face again. doesn't she seriously have the prettiest eyes?

free press summer fest 2012

june 2nd & june 3rd:

i went to free press summer fest two days after my summer started. this is my last summer as a high schooler. it feels so weird. anyway, i hate taking my camera to shows but i also hate not being able to snap a few shots so i just used my crappy fisheye lomo, which i didn't mind shoving into my back pocket and abusing a bit. these photos really aren't anything great but this is my photo diary and i guess i'm entitled to post anything that i want to remember here, including these. it was a fantastic weekend and i'm so glad i went. not to mention i saw snoop dogg. greatest decision ever.
